Russell
Jarrell was suddenly escorted to heaven by the angels on September 19
2009 at the young age of 55. Russell’s time on this earth was all too
brief. Although his time was brief, he found time in his life to touch
the lives of many people. Russell opened his doors to anyone and
everyone who needed him. He was affectionately known as pops or dad.
Russell was
born November 2 1953 in California. He was raised in San Diego where he
went to school, lived most of his life, and was occupied as an auto body
man for 30 years and loved it.
Russell was
preceded in death by his father Russell Jarrell Sr., nephew Craig Earl,
and long time friend Ruben Cruz. Also his dedicated Dog Rusty. Russell
is survived by his stepson Norm Ravy, (Kid) Grandson Devin Ravy mother
Mary Jarrell, sisters, Sandy Sullivan and Margret Earl, and ex wife Dawn
Jarrell. Dedicated companion/Dog Nurse Betty He is also survived by Jim
Bajis, his life long friend/brother as well as the many people he
adopted as family members.
Russell’s
family, especially his adopted family were his life. He will always be
remembered for his huge heart and attitude toward life. Russell was a
very loving and kind hearted man. He had a great passion for old cars,
music, deep sea fishing, NASCAR, NHRA. and in general he just loved to
live life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed. His ashes will be
spread, Memorial services will be private.
